To honour the day of 'Arafah and learn about the Hajj, children took part in a mini-Hajj demonstration on Tuesday 27th June 2023. This was an Al-Noor first!

To make this a realistic and exciting experience for the children, boys wore white sheets/towels over their uniforms as ihraam and girls wore plain abayas during the demonstration.

A Ka'abah was assembled in the School Hall, tents were set up in the Musalla (representing Mina) and we even had a mock-haircut station in the playground!  

The Ustaadhs lead the children in their Hajj, and the sound of "Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk" could be heard throughout the entire school! Needless to say, it was a very touching and emotional experience!
