Our environment is everything around us. It begins just outside our bodies and stretches farther than our eyes can see. It includes the air that we breathe, the land that we live on and the plants and animals that share our world. It includes the weather and climate.

'This term in Geography, we learnt about rural and urban areas. Rural means somewhere like the countryside and urban means somewhere in the city. We also learnt about greenspace. Green space is when there is a park or somewhere in the city which has lots of flowers and plants. My favourite lesson is when we created our city, which has both green spaces and things the city has, such as schools, public transport and cars. We have also made our cities less populated.' - Eesa A
