We have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons, Picts and Scots. This week we made our own Pictish stones using air dry clay. A Pictish stone is a monument made from stone that is generally carved with symbols and designs that represent various clans and lineages. We mould our stones using our hands. We carved our initials into our stones using the Ogham alphabet.
