This November, our school had the honour of hosting the Association of Muslim Schools (AMS) interschool Debate Competition, facilitated by none other than debating expert and author, Mr. Julian Bell. 

Our pupils were joined by pupils from seven other schools to learn the correct etiquette of debating; warming up with a discussion on 'should zoos be banned?'

At the end of the session, schools put their knowledge into use and engaged in a passionate debate on the topic of 'should homework for primary children be banned?'

Masha'Allah, our aspiring public speakers of tomorrow thoroughly enjoyed their day, and we look forward to welcoming them back in the future insha'Allah!
